The Canvass America Process

Canvass America believes in in-person, face-to-face voter contact with comprehensive follow-up and repetition. We deliver high quality canvassing that recruits locally, focuses on personal voter contact, and delivers results.

Canvass America conducts a thorough deep canvassing effort centered not only around completing a survey of voter opinions about issues and the candidates, but on having quality contacts at the door that are necessary to actually persuade or turnout voters. Too often canvassing efforts focus on quantity over quality. We deliver both. 

We do NOT believe in bringing in career canvassers from other states to conduct our canvassing operation. 

We do believe in recruiting locally and building a massive canvassing operation using only local canvassers. The best messengers for any campaign are local residents who believe in the cause we are pursuing and whose lives will be affected the outcome of the election.  

Each new canvasser is extensively trained how to not only complete the survey, but how to have quality conversations at the door with the voter. 

After the quality contact at the door, the canvasser will send a handwritten postcard to each voter thanking them for the conversation and doubling down on our ask for support or thanking them for their pledge of support.

We believe that repetition is key to any good ground campaign. Canvass America conduct this process over and over again throughout the campaign with multiple attempts to contact targeted voters within the identified universe.
